Lean Green Belt Course

Overview

This "in house" Lean Green Belt course is aimed at people in your organisation who are interested in facilitating changes in their or other people's workplace. Your participants will be coached in Lean principles and practice to enable them to make their environment more productive, more efficient and less wasteful.

Whether you are new to Lean or want to increase the understanding you already have, there is something here for you.  You will be able to engage from 6 to 15 of your people and, through their assignments, see them deliver significant outcomes in a reasonably short period of time.

Delivery

The course structure combines 8 days of classroom sessions, practical coaching in the workplace and 2 assignments. Assessment criteria is based on the achievement of key results. This ensures there is a direct link between learning, development activities and fast results.

The first assignment for your participants will be to work with their managers to determine suitable areas for attention and write outlines of their plans of attack to deliver the required results from these interventions.

The second assignment will be to implement the action plan and involve all the necessary people to develop and make changes that will deliver significant benefits that will be sustained.

Achievement

By the end of the Lean Green Belt programme, successful participants will have demonstrated success in their chosen area and will now be capable of facilitating teams on a range of small to medium sized projects to achieve further benefits for your organisation.

Accreditation

Our Lean Green Belt course leads directly to an Institute of Leadership & Management Level 5 Certificate in Service Improvement which is worth 20 credits on the National Framework. Click for details
